Miss Elizabeth Chipp

Role within the CfCWR

One of a team of consultants caring for military and civilian patients who have received burn injuries and require ongoing management of their scars. Miss Chipp is involved with the regular complex scar clinic which provides a multidisciplinary assessment of patients with scars and provides access to a range of surgical and non-surgical interventions.

Biography

Miss Chipp trained within the West Midlands and completed her training with a fellowship in burns and microsurgery at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. She joined the burns service in Birmingham as a consultant in 2014 and her practice includes both adult and paediatric burn care as well as general plastic surgery. She is involved with a range of research projects relating to burn care and improving outcomes. She has a keen interest in teaching and education and is responsible for the training of plastic surgery registrars throughout the region.
